Department of Mechanical Engineering
For postgraduate students on the Advanced Mechanical Engineering programme
On successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
Recall the principles of design and operation of a variety of industrially significant equipment concerned with energy conversion and use;
Describe the thermodynamic processes involved, using the appropriate terminology;
Identify appropriate performance criteria and parameters to assess devices or processes;
Recognise the interactions between thermodynamics and other engineering disciplines in design at the systems and component detail levels.
For all course details and materials, please see ME4-MFEAA.
Random International is a collaborative art and installation studio (previous Imperial students have enjoyed working here). They currently have a six month, full-time, paid internship opportunity.
See attached for details for opportunity.
